Moose Winter Classic – Quick Overview
Purpose
The Moose Winter Classic is a charity hockey tournament focused on fun and fundraising. Winning isn’t the point, raising money for the Midwest Rett Syndrome Foundation is.
Gist
Recreational, fun-first hockey. Not high-intensity or cut-throat
Three 17-minute run-time periods per game
Two referees per game
All teams play four guaranteed games
Teams receive a fundraising link before the tournament and there are No ties in games or standings — any tie is awarded to the team that raised more money through their fundraising link
Power-Up Cards available for sale onsite (penalty shots, power plays) — one of each per team, per game

Skill Divisions
Division 1 – Lower Level (D Level, HF 2.5 and below)
Division 2 – Middle Level (C Level, HF 2–3.5)
Division 3 – Upper Level (B Level, HF 3–4.5)
